RASAH COMMERCIAL SQUARE

We see the opportunity to up lift the community living activities through this proposed commercial square. The scheme champions the importance of co-existence and mutual benefits between the developer and the community in particular. Design spearheads commercial corporate image with passive design in place form the facades that answer accordingly to the local climate context.

This project looks into the mutual benefits between the proposed new commercial hub and the existing residential areas. Brief given as to design a shop complex holds commercial activities, focusing on local gourmet, F&B and offices. The intention for the overall design is to have a main courtyard design approach which provides passive design and boosts “Equal Thrive” to tenants operating their business activity there.

The overall scheme is a 2 levels building block. Ground floor (level 1) consists of 7-unit shop lot and each individual shoplot has approximately 1,500 to 2,000 square feet floor plate designated. The wider shop front would be the design feature as bigger shopfront concerns. Second floor (level 2) will be where the flexibility of layout design. If there is a possibility, suppose a single tenant can actually take the entire shop complex by amalgamating 7 shoplots into one. The design further denotes the potential of the boutique offices and cafes in level 3. Some office in level 3 is facing the highway vista. There is rooftop where tenants can enjoy having activities up there.
